What a sweet morning as we closed out the school year for What's Next. Ms. Ingalls blessed the 8th graders with a beautiful prayer as they move on to FHS. The message this morning from Justin was on "What's NeXT" for all of us as believers. His acronym was a great way to remember:
N: never forget Jesus
E: embrace the mission. Our calling is to follow Him.
X: eXpect God to move. God will move in mighty ways when we are obedient. We obey and trust Him with the outcome.
T: take the next step to move closer to Jesus, love others and serve the needs of people.
A huge thank you to Coach Gibson, Ms. Ingalls, Ms. Smith, Ms. Miller, Jenna, all the local youth pastors and our breakfast moms, Brandi and Dottie. We could not do this without their time, dedication and love they pour into this organization and your students.
See everyone in September!

Our last week of Club One for the 2024-2025 school year at Cline! Our last week was centered on serving others through serve day and the retelling of the Easter story using a resurrection egg hunt. We said goodbye to our amazing fifth graders who prayed us out for their final week. Seeing Christ grow in their hearts before they move on to Junior High has been the biggest blessing. We can’t wait to come back in the Fall!

Week 7 ❤️❤️ We finished learning the story of Jesus death and resurrection and then challenged the kids to put the story cards in order to see how well they remembered the Holy Week series. They did great!! Only one more week of Club One at Cline this semester! God has really shown up for this club. We will miss seeing these faces every week!

Going into Easter, this was all fun and games but a great visual way to show the kids of Club One-Cline what it meant for Jesus to take a punishment we all deserve as a payment for sin. All kids that accepted the challenge agreed they would complete the challenge or accept the punishment of an egg smashed on their heads. They were all feeling pretty confident in their abilities until that last question stumped them!
“For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord”

This week was bittersweet - it was our last meeting of ClubONE Windsong for the school year.
We decorated lunch sacks for Kids Meals Houston as our service activity for this semester. They all worked so hard to make the bags meaningful and fun. After our activity was complete we reviewed the Easter story using the resurrection eggs. I'm always so impressed with how much of the Gospel these kids have grasped each semester.
I hope each child felt seen, known and loved this semester. ❤ It has been a joy to serve them.
I know I speak for all of us volunteers when I say we love seeing these kids inside and outside the walls of the school.
