Club One for the Fall semester ended with an amazing serve day!! The kids of Club One had the opportunity to help prepare birthday cards and “birthday parties in a bag” for @thebirthdayjoyprogram ! The Birthday Joy Program is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing birthday celebrations to children in foster care, homeless shelters, group homes and other disadvantaged situations.
Thank you to all of our parents who so generously donated the items for our birthday bags. We were able to provide supplies for 30 birthday parties and we ended up with an extra $105 in donations that went straight to the needs of the organization! We were blessed to partner with you and take part in this special ministry!

Yesterday was our last day of the semester at ClubONE Windsong! We had a great day putting our lesson on the fruits of the spirit into action by serving others. We made a goal to make 12 birthday party bags for The Birthday Joy program. We SURPASSED that goal and made a total of 20 bags!!!! Thank you!!!
The kids had fun making birthday cards for the children that will receive these bags. We also prayed as a group over the bags and asked God to bless those that will receive them.
To finish our day we had an amazing lesson on WORSHIP. The kids learned why we worship and then were able to worship through the song “WayMaker”. It was a blessing to watch them all singing praises to our God.
Thank you for a great semester. We will start again in February. 💗

We finished up our Armor of God series learning about the Sword of the Spirit! We learned that the word of God is sharper than any double edged sword and our most powerful weapon to use against Satan and his lies.
Tomorrow is our LAST day of Club One this semester and always one of my favorites because it’s Serve day!! I love watching these kids learn what it looks like to give back and act as the hands and feet of Jesus!

This week ClubONE Windsong finished up all 9 lessons on the fruit of the spirit. This week we focused on the fruit of SELF-CONTROL. We learned how Daniel had control when he chose not to eat the kings food but chose to eat what God said was good for him.
We also had a very cool science experiment to show the kids what happens when we don't use self-control. We talked about how our emotions can explode if we're not careful.
Looking forward to our last day of the semester next week when we get to put all our learning into practice and serve others!

Our club one kids at Cline LOVED the Helmet of Salvation lesson last week and learned how we all have the choice to accept our salvation through Jesus Christ. We are thankful to have the opportunity to teach Gods truth into these little minds and hearts!

It was a great morning hearing from Matt Parker at First Baptist Friendswood. He spoke on Genesis 25:29-34 and the story of Esau giving Jacob his birthright. He talked about not exchanging something valuable for something temporary and challenged the students to think about who they are going to be and what their character is and means to them.
See you back on 12/9. We will be collecting new toys and toiletries for Jack's Project if you would like to donate.

Yesterday we had a great day at ClubONE Windsong. We learned about the fruit of the spirit - Gentleness. We defined gentleness as power under control. Understanding this definition, they heard about the story of David sparing Saul's life. Knowing that we are in control of our power, we challenged the students to show gentleness this week with others.
To practice being gentle we had a fun cup stacking game over a bowl of water. The groups did so well and showed so much gentleness and success in their cup towers.
We can't wait to see everyone again next week!
